Welcome to my clinic!
I’m Edyta, a qualified pelvic health physiotherapist with over 15 years of specialised experience in treating pelvic floor disorders. I gained my Master’s in physiotherapy in Poland in 2000, and since moving to the UK in 2004, I have worked extensively with patients at Southampton University Hospital and beyond.
Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise in treating a wide range of pelvic health conditions, including bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dyssynergia, chronic pelvic pain (such as levator ani syndrome), and post-natal diastasis recti. I am deeply committed to helping people find relief and regain control over their pelvic health, using a variety of evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual’s needs.

My Approach to Pelvic Health Treatment
I strongly believe in a holistic approach to pelvic floor dysfunction, which is why I offer a combination of techniques designed to restore both physical function and emotional well-being. These include also:
  • ScarWork techniques: Developed by Sharon Wheeler, these techniques focus on improving tightness, reducing pain, and stimulating healing of surgical scars. I work closely with patients to help them recover from the emotional and physical effects of scars, improving sensitivity and mobility.
  • Visceral manipulation: I completed my training in visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute, a therapy that gently manipulates the internal organs to improve overall pelvic health, alleviate pain, and promote healing.
Why Choose Me?
I understand that pelvic health issues are often not openly discussed, which is why many of my patients come to me after years of suffering in silence. I feel privileged to be able to help those who are brave enough to share their most intimate health concerns with me. My goal is to offer not just treatment, but support and understanding throughout your journey to recovery.
I work closely with each patient to design a personalised treatment plan that focuses on their specific symptoms and goals. Whether you're dealing with bladder issues, chronic pelvic pain, or recovering from surgery, I’m here to guide you through it all with compassion and expertise.
How I Can Help
  • Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation: Whether it’s incontinence or prolapse, my goal is to restore pelvic floor function and strength.
  • Scar Tissue Therapy: Post-surgical scars can affect your body’s movement and comfort; I use specialised techniques to minimise tightness and pain.
  • Chronic Pelvic Pain Solutions: Addressing conditions like levator ani syndrome with targeted treatments for long-term relief.
  • Post-Natal Care: Helping women with diastasis recti and pelvic health recovery after childbirth.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward better pelvic health, book an appointment today for a personalised assessment. I’m here to help you regain control, heal, and live without discomfort.
